At the age of eight I was exposed to popular DJs at the local skating rink and it was then I knew “this is what I want to do!” Since then I’ve never looked back, making the transition from house and block parties to the club circuit by 17 years old. I began spinning in clubs all throughout Tampa, Orlando and Miami as well as hosting corporate functions, DJing for weddings, aerobics classes and school dances. At 23, I earned an associates degree in show production and touring from the prestigious Full Sail Academy in Orlando. After graduation, I accepted a full-time position DJing and sound engineering for one of the largest clubs in the US –Seacrets (Ocean City, Maryland). From there I moved to Philadelphia, continuing to spin in clubs in Philly and New York, simultaneously building a career in show production, live sound, lighting and video. After 5 years in the mid atlantic states I have returned home with one vision… Cigar City DJs!

For as long as I can remember, music has been an enormous
part of my life. After DJing throughout Central Florida for years, I got
married and realized the importance of a wedding DJ – he can make or break an
event. After witnessing far too many inferior, sub-par DJs fumble through these
events, I knew this was what I wanted to do. I left my job as a reporter at the
St. Petersburg Times and formed the Cigar City DJs. If your tired of corny DJs
who lack mic presence and simply raise and lower the volume like an iPod, let
